Research Areas:
1) Separation selectivity of various reversed-phase materials for peptide separation.
2) Development of peptide retention prediction models.
3) Development of proteomics protocols for the analysis of post-translationally modified proteins.
4) Protein quantification using stable isotope labeling techniques.
Research interests of my group are concentrated around development of new chromatographic methods/procedures for the separation of complex peptide mixtures by reversed phase chromatography and it’s application for the analysis of complex biological samples by HPLC-MS. Knowing separations selectivity allows development of new separation protocols, which can be applied for a wide variety of biological samples under investigation at the Manitoba Centre for Proteomics and Systems Biology.
